Danger does not last forever

Danger does not last forever

Throughout the ages, prophets have preached in their mother tongue.  The last Prophet (peace be upon him) also conveyed the message of God in his mother tongue to the people.

Islamic scholars have placed great emphasis on teaching the religion in the mother tongue.  Imam Abu Hanifa (Rah.) Of our Madhhab has even said that it is permissible to offer prayers in one's mother tongue.  Sad but true!

The Muslim world could not give the status of mother tongue.  As a result, for a long time, the sermons of the General Assembly, like the Hajj, were read in incomprehensible Arabic.  Hajj pilgrims from outside the Arab world could not understand the Hajj sermon.

Bangladesh, the world's second-largest Muslim country, has repeatedly demanded that the Hajj sermon be delivered in more common languages, including Bengali, through the Islam and Life page of the daily Jugantar.

Thanks to the Saudi authorities, arrangements have been made to deliver the Hajj sermon in Bengali along with other languages this year, though it is too late.  Through this Bangla language reached another height.  Today I remember the words of the language martyrs.

O Allah!  Give good reward to the language martyrs.  For the readers of Jugantar, the magnetism of Hajj sermon was highlighted.

The sermon was delivered by Shaykh Abdullah bin Sulaiman Al Mania.  After praising Allah and saluting the Prophet (peace be upon him), he said:

‘I advise you to fear Allah.  Fear of God removes all kinds of dangers.  Allah says, "Whoever fears Allah, Allah will make his task easy for him."

Today, on such a day in the plain of Arafat, Allah revealed a verse to His Messenger, ‘Today I have perfected my religion for you and completed My blessings.  And I have chosen Islam as your way of life. 'In the Holy Qur'an, Allah says,' Seek help from Allah through patience and prayer. '

O people!  The life of this world is not free from suffering.  So your Lord Allah advised you to be patient and said, ‘I will surely test you with your fears and hunger, loss of money and danger.

Give good news to the patient.  Those who do not fall into danger and say in a hopeful voice, "We are for Allah, we will return to Allah - such brave people are the recipients of Allah's infinite mercy and are established on the right path."

Moreover, why not be patient?  He believes in destiny.  What is happening has been written in a safe book long ago.  Allah says, ‘No calamity befalls you which is not written before Allah.  It is very easy for Allah to do that. '

Danger reminds people of God's undisputed blessings.  Allah says, "If you want to count the blessings of Allah, you cannot finish counting."

No matter how difficult the danger, it does not last forever.  God's mercy has gripped people.  Allah says, of course there is happiness with sorrow. ’In another verse Allah says,‘ Allah will make you enjoy happiness after suffering.  In another verse, Allah says, "Allah desires happiness for you, not suffering, but you bring sorrow upon yourselves."

Allah says, ‘O you who believe!  Do not seize each other's wealth.  But you can enjoy property on the basis of mutual consent. 'In another verse, Allah says,' And Paradise has been made for the pious.  Those who spend in the way of Allah in times of affluence and poverty. '

Islam emphasizes the importance of maintaining good social and family relations.  In the Holy Qur’an, Allah says, ‘I have instructed the people that you shall worship Me alone.  And be kind to your parents.

If one or two of them reach old age, don't bother them in the slightest, don't talk to them in a threatening tone.  Talk to them in soft language.  Match your wings to them.  And say, O my Lord!  Show me your kindness to them as you did to me when I was a child. '

Allah says, ‘Be just, establish justice and give rights to relatives.  Do not be obscene and do not be disobedient. 'Allah said,' Give the relatives the rights they deserve, and give the orphans the rights they deserve.  Don't waste anything. '

Islam has given political policies that have ensured the security of the state and its citizens.  It is haraam to hurt others and to transgress.  Islam forbids all kinds of mischief on the ground.  Instructed obedience to the law and those responsible.

Allah says, ‘And hold fast to the rope of Allah together.  Do not quarrel with each other. 'In another verse, Allah says,' Obey Allah, the Messenger of Allah and Ulil Amri.  If you disagree, return to Allah and His Messenger. '

Allah says, ‘When you are sick, Allah heals you.’ The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, ‘Stay away from the terrible disease.’ O Muslims!  Pray to God with great humility and hope.  Allah says, ‘You call on Me.  I will respond.

O Allah!  You protect us from this epidemic.  Heal the sick.  Give the virus the power to discover the right antidote.  O Allah!  Let us keep you safe.  Amen.

 Time demands

From the very beginning, the pages of Islam and Life have been demanding Hajj, World Ijtema and Friday sermons in the mother tongue.  Alhamdulillah!  The sermon in Bengali is now predominant in the field of Arafat.  Statements are also being made in Bengali in the field of Ijtema.

Now, if the Khatibs of Bangladesh also give sermons in their mother tongue Bengali on Friday, the importance of Friday will increase.  Devotees of Friday prayers will understand the importance of prayers, the importance of religion.  I hope modern scholars will think about it.
